KU joins hands with Yok Solutions for eco-friendly campus

To promote environmental sustainability and set new standards in campus management, the University of Kashmir (KU) has partnered with Delhi-based Yok Solutions Pvt. Ltd. to launch a holistic Green Campus Initiative.

The MoU was signed between the two institutions, marking an important step towards implementing scientific and sustainable waste management practices across the campus. The initiative aims to achieve zero waste to landfill by managing wet, dry, and green waste effectively.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor KU, Prof. Nilofer Khan said, “The Green Campus Initiative is a long-term commitment to embedding sustainability into the core values of our institution.”
