J&K lost 438 Sq Km to forest fires in 8 months

The Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change has said Jammu and Kashmir is one of the major hotspots of forest fires with the region losing over 438 square Kilometers of land to blazes between November 2023 and June 2024.
