Dir Agri inaugurates Crop Insurance Week Campaign

Director Agriculture Jammu, Arvinder Singh Reen, today inaugurated the 9th Crop Insurance Week Campaign at the Directorate of Agriculture, Krishi Bhawan, Talab Tillo, Jammu.
The week-long campaign, being observed from July 1 to July 7, 2025, marks a significant step in promoting awareness about the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) for the Kharif 2025 season across Jammu Division.
The inaugural event witnessed the presence of Chief Agriculture Officer Jammu, Manohar Lal Sharma, Agronomist (VIS) Vikas Padha, SMS-DL Rajeev Katoch, SDAO Marh Khalid Hassan Tantri, State Head, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, Sonu Kumar Kashyap along with sectoral heads, officers and staff of the department.
