MONALISA, the viral blue-eyed bead seller girl who became an internet sensation during the 2025 Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, is at the centre of a legal controversy in Madhya Pradesh related to her marriage with Farmaan Khan.
Monalisa’s father Jaisingh Bhosale made a complaint against Khan, a native of Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh, at the Maheshwar police station of Madhya Pradesh’s Khargone district last month. Khan has been booked under Section 137(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) on the charge of kidnapping, which is punishable with seven years of imprisonment. Monalisa had married Khan on March 11 at a Kerala temple and is a teenager.
