A Delhi court on Monday accepted a closure report filed by the city police in a case filed by a wrestler accusing former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh of sexual harassment when she was a minor.
The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) case, which carries a minimum jail term of three years, was cancelled after the complainant expressed no objection to police findings.
The order was passed by additional sessions judge Gomti Manocha at Patiala House Court.
During an in-camera hearing held on August 1, 2023, the wrestler told the judge that she was content with the police probe and did not wish to pursue the matter.
