Stone laid for ₹78-lakh rural knowledge centre

TAMIL NADU Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister MRK Panneerselvam laid the foundation stone for a ₹77.89 lakh Rural Knowledge Centre at Karamedu Colony in Kodhandaramapuram and inaugurated government buildings worth ₹3.78 crore in Kurinjipadi and Vadalur areas on Sunday in the presence of Cuddalore collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar.
During the event, the minister inaugurated several facilities, including the Thondamanatham Panchayat Office, Adinarayanapuram and Subramaniyapuram Primary Health Centres, ration shops in Chinnanadanamkuppam and Thoppukollai, a four-classroom building at the Panchayat Union Middle School in Thangalikuppam, and Ayikuppam and Kannadi Panchayat Offices. Additionally, an anganwadi centre was opened at Thayalkunampattinam.
