India Hits 50% Non-Fossil Fuel Power Capacity

INDIA has achieved 50% non-fossil fuel-based power generation capacity at 242.78 GW, out of 484.82 GW installed capacity—five years ahead of its 2030 target, Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Pralhad Joshi, said on Monday.
He said this milestone underscores the country's commitment to climate action and sustainable development.
