DEFENCE Minister Rajnath Singh asks for no let-up in India's offensive and defensive preparedness amid growing turmoil and calls for maritime alertness because of the possibility of increased threats from the Gulf of Aden, the Red Sea and other coastal regions along eastern Africa.
At an event to commemorate 2024 as the Year of Naval Civilians in New Delhi on Friday, Defence Minister highlighted the increasing complexities for the Armed Forces due to the tense geopolitical security scenario and pitched to increase the critical capability of the country as soon as possible.
