611 Govt School Students Get Free Books, Edu Kits in Villupuram

SENIOR DMK leader and former minister K Ponmudy on Monday distributed free books and education kits to 611 students of Arakandanallur government higher secondary school in Villupuram, on the reopening day of government schools across the state.
The school had achieved a 100% Class 12 pass rate last year. The initiative, organised by the school education department, aims to promote enthusiasm among students and ensure a strong academic start, said an official release.
