Bapatla to procure additional 30,000 MT of paddy

To support farmers and ensure hassle-free procurement of harvested paddy, the government will purchase an additional 30,000 metric tonnes beyond the initial target, District Collector J Venkata Murali announced on Tuesday.
At a review meeting held at the Collectorate, Murali discussed procurement measures with officials from the Agriculture and Marketing Departments, farmers' associations, and the Rice Millers Association. He said the total paddy yield across Kharif, Late Kharif, and Rabi seasons in the district stood at approximately 1.8 lakh met
