In a rare display of unity, MPs from all major parties in Telangana unanimously opposed Andhra Pradesh's proposed Godavari-Banakacherla project, calling it a threat to the state's water interests.
At an all-party meeting held at the Secretariat on Wednesday, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said his government would fight the project on technical, legal and political fronts.
