Stirs held at Anna Kalaiarangam in Vellore and Vaniyambadi railway station
ACTIVISTS of the All India Trade Union Congress, Centre of Indian Trade Unions, All India Kisan Sabha, Labour Progressive Federation among others staged a protest at Anna Kalaiarangam in Vellore as part of their planned nationwide strike on Wednesday. A similar protest was staged in front of the Vaniyambadi railway station in Tirupattur seeking immediate action from the centre on their 17-point charter of demands.
