K'taka to cap movie ticket prices at ₹200 across all theatres

KARNATAKA Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in his budget speech on Friday announced that ticket prices in theatres across the state, including multiplexes, will be capped at ₹200.
This applies to films of all languages screened in Karnataka. However, it has to be seen whether the move will be sustained, as an order issued to this effect during the previous Siddaramaiah-led government in 2017 was challenged
