Aims to set up 40,000 kitchen gardens and 29,915 home composting pits in Kurnool
The Kurnool District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), in collaboration with SERP under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), has launched a district-wide campaign to promote kitchen gardens and home composting, targeting over 40,000 rural households.
It aims to establish 40,000 kitchen gardens and 29,915 home composting pits within a month. It benefits Self-Help Group (SHG) members and aligns with schemes such as Andhra Pradesh Community Natural Farming (APCNF), the Department of Agriculture, Horticulture, and MGNREGS.
