THOOTHUKUDI district unit of the CPM on Thursday put up posters across Kovilpatti town, including the compound walls of the office of the Kovilpatti RDO, demanding that the revenue department take action against a tahsildar, who they claimed had allegedly been asking for ₹5-lakh bribe every month from the survey commissionerate.
