POINTING to a portion of the railing enclosure at the park under construction under the Thennur bridge since September 2023, collapsing a few days ago, city residents question the corporation's commitment to completing the public facility.
While the corporation allocated about ₹30 lakh for the project near Mahatma Gandhi school, local residents say the space is currently occupied mostly by homeless individuals.
They also complain that the space behind the incomplete facility has reduced into an unofficial dump yard.
