EPS Promises 24-Hour Three-Phase Power for Farmers If Voted to Power

AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami on Monday said three-phase electricity will be provided round the clock to farmers if the AIADMK is voted to power in 2026.
Addressing farmers and traders in Tirunelveli as part of his "Makkalai Kaappom, Tamizhagathai Meetpom" campaign, he said only the AIADMK had ensured continuous three-phase power for agriculture.
"In the current regime, farmers are being given three-phase power only in shifts. But during our tenure, we ensured round-the-clock supply. Once AIADMK comes to power again, this will resume," he said. Palaniswami accused the DMK government of failing farmers by denying loans on the grounds of CIBIL score.
