Probe sought into issuance of alleged fake stability papers for 'fragile' buildings

THE UDF-led opposition in Thrissur corporation has sought a probe into the issuance of "fake" stability certificates for buildings that were listed to be demolished within the civic body.
The corporation had prepared a list of 271 buildings that were identified as fragile and decided to be demolished. Notices were already issued to the owners of these old buildings. The corporation council meeting on March 5 had decided to proceed with the demolishing process, considering public safety and one structure in Swaraj Round was raz
