‘His spirit undaunted’: Wife meets Wangchuk at jail, gets detention order

GEETANJALI Angmo, wife of Ladakh climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, met him in Jodhpur Central Jail on Tuesday, for the first time since his detention 11 days ago. She also received a copy of his detention order, according to her social media post.
Geetanjali said she met Wangchuk with advocate Ritam Khare. She described her husband as unwavering: “Met Sonam Wangchuk today with Ritam Khare and got the detention order, which we will challenge. His spirit is undaunted. His commitment is resolute! His resilience intact! He conveys heartfelt thanks to all for their support and solidarity... Satyameva Jayate.”
