FOOD and Civil Supplies Minister G R Anil has announced the completion of the second phase of paddy procurement for the 2024-25 season in Kerala. A total of 1,42,209 metric tonnes of paddy was procured from 57,358 farmers in Palakkad district, valued at ₹402.7 crore, out of which ₹78 crore has already been disbursed, said minister in a press conference held along with Electricity Minister K Krishnankutty at the KSEB IB in Palakkad on Monday.
