A 20-year-old youngster from Kannur has been arrested for circulating morphed photos of many women and children from a village in the district on social media, causing widespread distress.

- EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE @Kannur

Abhay, a resident of Vayannoor, was taken into custody by the Peravoor police on Thursday night. An investigation revealed numerous morphed images, including those of police officers and celebrities, stored on his mobile phone.

The incident came to light when residents found the morphed images on an Instagram account named "Brandhan." The women's faces had been morphed onto explicit images, leading to significant psychological distress in the community. Among the victims was the president of a local panchayat under the Peravoor police jurisdiction.

Hedges are one of the oldest and most reliable tools in landscaping: they provide privacy, reduce noise and dust, and simultaneously soften the hard lines of walls and gates.
