THE 55th GST Council meeting, held in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan decided to include the destination state in online purchase bills, addressing a long-standing demand from the Kerala government.
A statement from Finance Minister K N Balagopal's office said that Kerala had been deprived of its rightful share of revenue from online sales due to the absence of the place of supply being recorded in many bills.
