Otthapalli Devarajulu Naidu, a retired fire officer and childhood friend of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, fondly recalls the leader's lifelong commitment to his people and his humble beginnings.

On the occasion of Chandrababu's 75th birthday, Devarajulu shared personal anecdotes that reflect not only the Chief Minister's political journey but also his enduring personal values.
Hailing from Kandulavaripalli, Devarajulu studied with Chandrababu Naidu from primary school in Seshapuram to high school in Chandragiri, eventually sharing a hostel room (Room 102) at SV Arts College in Tirupati. Their friendship extended into adulthood, even sharing a rented room post-college. He worked alongside Naidu during his first election campaign and now lives in Tirupati after retiring.
