Minister requests more funds for D'gere's progress

In a meeting with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, District Minister S S Mallikarjun along with MLAs of the district urged the CM to provide additional funds for the comprehensive development of Davanagere.
Explaining the progress on infrastructure development in the district in the last two years of governance, Mallikarjun stressed that several urgent infrastructure works need to be taken up to ensure the district's progress.
Appealing for additional funds, Mallikarjun pointed out that the Chief Minister had already released Rs 50 crore for the development of the district. The minister insisted that there is a need to repair the faulty main MS-pipeline which dissects Pune-Bengaluru National Highway-48.
