Minister pulls up babus over rise in maternal, infant mortality rates

DISTRICT Minister D Sudhakar on Monday during a KDP meeting expressed concern over the increase in maternal and infant mortality and cesarean section cases in the district.
Addressing officials during the meeting, he said the cesarean section rates in Chitradurga are higher than the average in the state and instructed health officials to submit a separate analysis report for each case regarding maternal mortality and infant mortality.
