SP Mithunkumar has said the disputed land (Idgah Maidan) situated in front of the DC's office will be open for public use from April 10. In a press release, SP Mithunkumar said the issue of restricting entry into Idgah Maidan has been amicably solved.
"All the parties concerned were taken into confidence and all of them have agreed to solve it. However, there was a demand to put up CCTV cameras and lights and maintain cleanliness in the area that was agreed by the district administration," he said, adding from April 10, once again the space would be utilised for parking as it was used earlier. He thanked the public, community leaders, political party leaders for cooperating in resolving this issue amicably.
