MARRIED just two months ago, it was 31-year-old Shubham Dwivedi's second sojourn to the Valley Kashmir with his newly-wed wife. Accompanied by 11 family members, the Kanpur-based businessman had much frolic to look forward to on Pahalgam meadows. But, fate had only cruelty in store.
The Kanpur household wore a grim look on Wednesday morning amid the incessant ringing of phone lines. They said Shubham had been shot dead point blank before stupefied faces of his wife and family. He was among the 26 to be killed at Baisaran meadow near Pahalgam.
