Despite Completion, Rs 12-cr Commercial Complex Yet to Get NOC from Fire Dept

The building has been constructed to facilitate vendors and fetch revenue to the corporation

THE Shivamogga Smart City Limited's (SSCL) much-awaited project, 'Commercial Complex and Hawkers' Zone', is still awaiting NOC from the Fire department and is yet to be handed over to the Shivamogga City Corporation.

The building has been constructed at the private bus stand in the city to facilitate nearby vendors to conduct businesses and also to fetch revenue to the corporation by providing parking for private vehicles at a standard rate on an hourly basis. The project was taken up in 2021, but it is yet to be opened for vendors.
