Literature buffs were seen thronging the book stalls that were set up at the Sammelena venue in the city to buy books
THE 19th Zilla Kannada Sahitya Sammelana (District Literature Festival) organised by Shivamogga Zilla Kannada Sahitya Parishat at Sahitya Grama in Chalukya Nagar at Gopishetty Koppa received a good response from literature enthusiasts on the first day on Thursday. Popular Kannada movie director Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar inaugurated the Sammelana here.
Literature buffs were seen thronging the book stalls that were set up at the Sammelana venue. More than 12 book stalls were opened and attracted a huge crowd who were busy viewing and buying new books from the stalls.
