THROUGH lift irrigation, water from Tunga river was brought to Anjanapura reservoir for farmers of Shikaripura taluk. Thanks to former CM B S Yediyurappa who was instrumental in providing drinking water to both Shikaripura and Shiralakoppa towns," said state BJP president B Y Vijayendra.
Speaking after offering Bagina to overflowing Anjanapura and Ambligola reservoirs in Shikaripura taluk on Monday, Vijayendra said that the pro-farmer thought of B S Yediyurappa made him bring water from Tunga river to Anjanapura reservoir.
