Army chief visits Garhwal to take stock of operational preparedness along LAC

CHIEF of the Army Staff (COAS) General Upendra Dwivedi on Sunday visited forward posts along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand to review operational and administrative readiness of forces deployed.
Army in its statement said, "During his visit, the COAS interacted with troops guarding the frontiers and commended them for their unwavering dedication, resilience, and professionalism. He emphasised the importance of maintaining high standards of operational preparedness and vigilance."
