Farmer steps on snapped electric wire in field, dies

A 47-year-old farmer here died from electrocution on Thursday after he accidentally came into contact with a live supply wire that snapped in his paddy field.
Alleging that the snapped wire was lying unattended for about a week despite complaints, a group of farmers staged a protest in front of the Tangedco office.
