Don't pay more for parking, Pudukkottai corpn clarifies after several plaints

AFTER several users complained that workers handling the two-wheeler parking lot located near the Pudukkottai bus stand are charging them more, citing a new timing rule, the corporation has clarified that no changes have been made and that users need not pay extra.
Users complained that unlike private parking lots in the vicinity, which charge ₹10 for a 24-hour period, workers in the corporation-run facility are collecting ₹15, citing a calendar-day model. The ₹15 is till midnight, which means users will have to pay more if they take out vehicles even a few minutes after 12 am.
