Professor V K Natraj passes away

PROF V K Natraj (85), a retired professor and former director of Institute of Development Studies, University of Mysore, and former director, Madras Institute of Development Studies (MIDS), Chennai, passed away at a private hospital in Mysuru on Monday after a brief illness.
Nataraj, a well-known economist and academician, leaves behind his wife, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Prof Nataraj served as the chairman of the Department of Development Studies at the University of Mysore.
