BJP Workers Stage Protest Against Suspension of MLAs

BJP leaders took out a protest march against the suspension of 18 BJP MLAs by the Speaker recently, in Hassan on Thursday.
The workers, led by Sakleshpur MLA Cement Manju and district BJP president Siddesh Nagendra, started the march from the Hemavathi statue circle and culminated at the DC's office where they presented a memorandum to DC C Satyabhama.
The workers raised slogans against the state government on the occasion. Earlier, while addressing the workers, Cement Manju alleged that the Speaker had taken an undemocratic decision by suspending BJP MLAs without any derogatory remarks against him.
