It aims at providing a long-lasting solution, reduce recurring repair costs
To reduce the financial burden on the government exchequer caused by frequent repairs of pothole-ridden asphalt roads, especially before the Dasara festivities, the Public Works Department (PWD) will undertake white topping work on 12 major arterial roads connecting Mysuru's central business district to the Outer Ring Road. This work is expected to begin after the Dasara celebrations.
