Unscientific works by BJP-ruled MCC led to artificial floods in city

KPCC general secretary R Padmaraj alleged unscientific development works carried out in the past five years during the BJP-ruled Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) resulted in the artificial floods after the recent heavy downpour in the city.
Talking to reporters here on Monday, he alleged that artificial floods are a testimony that the works implemented under Smart City and other projects are unscientific. Instead of fixing the city's infrastructure, he alleged that BJP MLAs of Mangalore are engrossed in criticising the state government to divert the people's attention from real issues.
