Toll Plaza Collection in State Doubles in 5 Yrs, Now Stands at ₹4,086 Cr

THE user fee collection from toll plazas on the National Highways (NH) of the state more than doubled in the last five years.
The total collection of the toll fee in 2023-24 stood at Rs 4,086 crore, according to information provided by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways to the Lok Sabha during the ongoing parliament session.
The fee collection in the state in 2019-20, which was Rs 1,188.99 crore, went up to Rs 1,866.39 crore in 20-21 and Rs 3,516.79 crore in 22-23. There are 58 operational user fee plazas in the state as of January 2025, out of which 14 were established in the last three years.
