Study by expert firms after AAI report, says MB Patil

A HIGH-level team from the Airports Authority of India (AAI), which has inspected three sites for the proposed second airport for Bengaluru, is likely to share its report with the Karnataka government in a month, Infrastructure Development Minister MB Patil said on Thursday.
It will then be taken to experts in airport development for a detailed study, after which the Karnataka government will finalise the location, Patil added.
On Thursday, Patil said that the airport location will depend on factors such as passenger and cargo traffic and industrial needs.
