State govt has to balance between MLAs expectations, financial condition: Bhandary

KPCC working president Manjunath Bhandary on Tuesday said the legislators' expectations from the government are high but the latter has to prioritise the development works keeping in mind the financial condition of the state.
Bhandary was responding to queries about Congress MLA B R Patil resigning from his position as political advisor to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah citing lack of funds for his constituency. He said when the Congress government took over the reins in the state, the financial situation was not so good as the previous BJP government had launched projects worth hundreds of crores without the approval of the finance department and also without proper planning.
