The third preparatory ritual ahead of the 2026 Shiroor Paryaya—Kattige Muhurtha—will be held at Sri Shiroor Mutt, one of the Ashta Mutts of Udupi on July 13 at 9:15 am (Simha Lagna).
For this, 25 truckloads of traditional firewood will be collected and stacked in the shape of a chariot on the northeast side of Madhwa Sarovara, symbolizing readiness for the upcoming Paryaya.
