GALIBEEDU Panchayat in Madikeri taluk has emerged among the top three panchayats in the country after it received the prestigious Deen Dayal Upadhyay Panchayat Satat Vikas Puraskar.
The concerned office bearers from the panchayat were honoured with the award at New Delhi by President Droupadi Murmu.
"The panchayat was rewarded with the prestigious award following the implementation of various development works. The panchayat will ensure further development," confirmed Shashikirana, PDO of the Galibeedu Panchayat. With a total of 10 villages under its limits, the Galibeedu panchayat is known to have successfully implemented various government schemes and projects.
