Flo' card game by M'luru student wins at Stanford Design Challenge

SHUBHAM R Vernekar, a resident of Mangaluru, a student of IIT Guwahati and also a former student of St Aloysius school and NITK Surathkal, has won second place in the 14th edition of the Stanford Design Challenge 2024-25 on the subject 'Reimagining Education and Learning for long lives' held from April 21 to 23 by the Stanford University in California in the United States.
Addressing a press conference in Mangaluru on Saturday, Shubham said they won the prize for their 'Flo - The Ikigai Card Game', designed by him and Kavyashri Venkatesh, a game that keeps children from mobile usage and leads a stress-free life. The game is designed for children between the age group of 10 to 70 years.
