It is expected to enhance university's ability to manage its affiliated institutions effectively in the coastal region
CHIEF Minister Siddaramaiah will lay the foundation stone for Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences's (RGUHS) Mangaluru Regional Centre at Maryhill near Kavoor at 11.30 am in the city on January 17.
The much-awaited RGUHS Regional Centre in Mangaluru is expected to enhance the university's ability to manage its affiliated institutions more effectively in and around the coastal region and provide better support to students, faculty, and healthcare professionals.
The proposed centre will house cutting-edge facilities, including par excellence innovative simulation labs, sports complex, advanced fitness centre, recreational facilities, AC auditorium, advanced research centres and seminar hall.
