Adi Dravida forum warns of protest if axed from SC list

The District Adi Dravida Coordination Committee has urged the state government not to exclude the Adi Dravida community from the list of Scheduled Castes and provide them internal reservation.

It has warned legal action and protests if the caste is removed from the SC list.

Committee district president M Seena Masthikatte told reporters here on Thursday that a request has already been submitted to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Justice H N Nagamohan Das Commission on behalf of the committee and have got an assurance that there is no question of removing the Adi Dravida sub-caste from the list.
