Govt seeks legal advice on SC order to provide relief in VIL AGR dues

THE government is seeking legal advice on the Supreme Court's order to provide relief on Vodafone Idea's additional gross revenue (AGR) dues, said a senior official from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
The official said that, as is customary in all cases, the government will seek legal advice on the court's ruling before taking any action.
"We will take legal advice on the court order and then decide on the possible steps regarding relief for Vodafone Idea. A legal review is done for all cases," said the official.
