GoriPalayam Road Cleared for Kallalagar's Visit

THE state highways department, which is constructing a flyover at Goripalayam, has started removing debris and making the incomplete structure safe for devotees who will converge on the city during the Chithirai festival.
Lord Kallalagar will descend into Vaigai river from near the Goripalayam flyover, construction of which is 40 per cent over.
The entire stretch from Tamukkam grounds up to AV Bridge is important route for Kallalagar's procession.
