Bias: NCSC seeks report from Dindigul Collector & SP

ACTING on the complaints of Dalit Liberation Movement (DLM) State president C Karuppiah, the National Commission of Scheduled Castes (NCSC) has issued notices to Dindigul Collector S Saravanan and Dindigul Police Superintendent Dr A Pradeep seeking reports within 15 days on the denial of entry of Dalits to Hindu Temple, refusal of hair cuts to Dalits in Oddanchatram Taluk for the past few months.
The order was given after repeated incidents of caste atrocities reported in the Oddanchatram taluk of Dindigul. NCSC Director Dr S Ravivarman said, "The nature of the incidents are serious in Oddanchatram taluk. It is sad to notice that we are receiving many complaints from Tamil Nadu,
