Hemachandran's family demands body be released for performing last rites

The family of Wayanad native Hemachandran, who was kidnapped from Kozhikode and murdered by a group of men, has filed a complaint with the Chief Minister and the District Police Chief against the delay in receiving the DNA test results in the case.
Hemachandran's wife Subisha filed the complaint alleging that the failure to receive the DNA results even after a month-and-a-half is part of an attempt to sabotage the case. The family also complained that they also haven't received the body yet, due to which they haven't been able to perform Hemachandran's last rites. "I am a daily wage earner. Not being able to perform the last rites is a big problem. Since the death was confirmed, I have not been able to go to work. We doubt that there are attempts to sabotage the inves
