'Deeper reasons': Oppn poser on Dhankhar's exit

A day after Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar's abrupt resignation from his post citing health reasons, the Opposition parties sharpened its attack on the government saying that "there are far deeper reasons behind the move".
Demanding clarity on VP's resignation, Congress general secretary in charge of communications Jairam Ramesh said PM Modi's "non-post" on X regarding the "forced resignation" has only deepened the mystery.
The Opposition party also said the "farmer's son" is being denied even a dignified farewell.
"PM's non-post on X regarding Dhankhar's forced resignation has only added to the mystery of his abrupt exit. Surely the PM could have been a bit more gracious -- he is, after all, the supreme master of hypocrisy," he wrote.
